Backyard Fun

Last week we were blessed with a few warmer days in which the boys got to go out and enjoy their playset without getting cold. It was nice to watch them having so much fun with each other outside, and of course I couldn't resist pulling out the camera to get some nice shots of them playing together. I managed to get quite a few of Malachi on both days, but not surprisingly Caleb in all his boundless energy was just too busy to pause for pictures.

Though I wish I could have gotten more of Caleb, it was nice to get some good ones of Malachi, especially since I had just recently given him a haircut. He has very thick, coarse hair that grows extremely quickly. It seems every time we take him to get a haircut in no time he needs another one. To save some money I decided to cut it myself this time. The first 3 pictures are from a couple of days after I had cut it, and the pictures of him in the overalls are from the day immediately after I cut it. I have already done more cutting. It's really amazing how much hair he has and how fast it grows! I think if I continue to cut it myself we'll be able to have a good Christmas this year on just the money saved by cutting hair myself.
